Benevilla, an Age-Friendly Arizona partner, is hosting the following events to support their programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, children and families who care for them. Caregiver Connect Virtual Event - Thursday, March 4, 2021 9:00 am – 11:00 am A free event offered for family caregivers providing guidance and valuable information for the caregiver journey. Presentations will be given by Dr. Parichita Choudhury of Sun Health Research Institute, and Dawn Purdom, RN BSN of Hospice of the West. There are multiple ways to participate that are outlined in the event attachment. 50/50 Raffle Help support a neighbor in need and have a chance of winning 50% of the raffle drawing proceeds. Tickets purchased by mail or online must be received by February 25, 2021 to be eligible for the drawing. The event attachment lists ticket prices and includes the order form. Community Shred-A-Thon Fundraiser Event - Saturday, February 20, 2021 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Is it time to de-clutter and get organized for 2021? Here is an opportunity to safely and securely dispose of old documents and records. Participants can stay in their vehicles to drop off documents to be shredded curbside. There is a minimum $4 donation per box of documents to be shredded. The event is being held at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West.
