The Surprise Human Service & Community Vitality Department houses Neighborhood Services, Senior Services, Surprise Resource Center and Youth Services Divisions. The department is designed to strengthen community resiliency through direct service programs and through partnerships with non-profit and government agencies to better serve Surprise residents. The Surprise Senior Center is the hub of activities for citizens age 50 and above or disabled adults, featuring recreation, health and wellness programming. The Senior Center also features a weekday hot lunch program.
