Over 300 volunteers assist with services that include transportation to medical and other appointments, shopping and other errands, bill paying and sorting, handy person help and respite for in-home caregivers.

As the designated Community Action Agency, Head Start provider, and Area Agency on Aging for Region IV, WACOG provides services that support over 23,000 individuals and families each year.

Wickenburg’s Freedom Express provides contribution-only transportation to seniors 60+ in Wickenburg and up to ten miles out of town. Seniors register with the program and must be ambulatory in order to qualify. Qualified volunteers provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping and socializing to help Wickenburg’s seniors “Get Out & Get Moving!”
Wickenburg’s Freedom Express is a community collaboration between the Town of Wickenburg, The Salvation Army, the Foundation for Senior Living and Wickenburg Community Services Corporation.
